Creating a home that's practical for a family of four, within the limitations of being on a trailer, is no mean feat. This Award recognises the most family-friendly recent Tiny Home.

Putting a roof over the heads of families really means something to you, and you are expert at considering the present and future needs of all family members.
Practicality
The design actually works in the real world, is functional when there are multiple people moving through the home, and is a safe place to raise children.
Future-proofing
The Tiny Home has been designed with the future in mind, and will accommodate the changing needs of growing children.
Interaction
The design includes spaces where the family can connect and enjoy quality time, and also provides creative play opportunities for the children.
Eligibility Criteria
ALL criteria must be met in order for a business to nominate in this category.
*Criteria vary for each Award category. All criteria are non-negotiable and will checked.
The nominating business must:
- Be a current accredited THIA member
- Have a valid ABN
- Have been operating as a Tiny House builder for a minimum of 2 years
- Not have been subject to bankruptcy, liquidation, administration (either voluntary or involuntary) or legal proceedings resulting in a judgement within the last 5 years, either personally or professionally
- Have permission from the client to be contacted by us to verify their experience.
In addition, the nominated home must:
- be a Tiny House on Wheels.
- have been completed after August 2023.
