Tiny House Industry Awards 2025
Showcasing and celebrating Australia's best Tiny House builders and businesses. Becoming a winner or finalist is a powerful way to set your business apart from the rest. And in an increasingly competitive marketplace, you want every possible advantage.

Our 2025 Awards program is now open for nominations.

Here's why participating should be a non-negotiable:

Grow Your Reach
Winning or even reaching the finals of an industry award program comes with money-can't-buy publicity. The social media and marketing coverage will introduce you to a whole new audience of potential buyers.

Build Credibility
Buyers are more educated and discerning than ever. Awards show that you are not only legitimate, but industry leaders- without you having to say a word. Spend less time proving yourself and more time building homes.

Reward Your Team
Acknowledging your team's hard work has been shown to create a stronger bond and increase job satisfaction. The boost in morale is immeasurable, and can even translate to a more positive and productive workplace.
Eleven categories. Eleven chances to show Australia why you're the best at what you do.
Builder of the Year
The industry's biggest award, for the most outstanding Tiny Home builder across the board.
Granny Flat Builder of the Year
The most outstanding granny flat or secondary dwelling builder
Green Star Award
The builder demonstrating the most environmentally conscious build practices.
Style by the Mile
The most beautifully and uniquely-styled Tiny Home or Granny Flat of the year.
Best Weekender
The most outstanding Tiny House built for short stay and tourist accommodation.
Best Family Home
The most outstanding Tiny House designed for comfortable full-time family living.
Best Supporting Business
The most outstanding product or service business supporting the Tiny Home industry.
2025 Judging Panel
The Process
After nominations close on July 13, entries will be compiled and verified. For categories requiring us to contact the build client, this will be carried out over the ensuing weeks.
Our judging panel will then convene for a zoom call during early August, where all nominations, entrants and categories will be discussed in detail. At the conclusion of this session, each judge will rate every entrant on a numeric scoring system, providing feedback and commentary where appropriate.
All scoring will be tallied shortly after, and finalists notified and announced publicly on August 22.
Ethics & Integrity
We do not take the judging of this Awards program lightly.
All judges will be required to disclose any existing commercial relationships or potential conflicts of interest prior to our judging session, and where these exist, the judge will be excluded from rating the nominee concerned. That judge's score will then be submitted as the average of the remaining judges' ratings for that nominee.
We continue to give very serious consideration to the ethical responsibilities involved in running our Tiny House Industry Awards program again this year. We have done our very best to anticipate potential concerns and build a fair and transparent program that truly supports and uplifts our incredible industry.
We're committed to maintaining the integrity of the program as our industry grows, and we are so excited to celebrate with you all at our Awards presentation in Brisbane on October 3!
If you haven't already nominated, do so by July 13. No extensions will be granted under any circumstances.
Should you have feedback or concerns regarding the program or transparency around the process, please reach out to us via email: [email protected]
