The Tiny House blends seamlessly into the natural landscape, and appears almost one with the surroundings rather than being a feature of it. Your materials and design choices are key in achieving this.
Focus
Your design draws the eye outside, and clever installation choices lure guests outdoors to not only view the natural world with reverence, but be part of it in holistic and immersive ways.
Intentionality
The Tiny Home facilitates a simple way of being where guests find joy in small pleasures, and slowing down is a natural consequence of your deliberate design choices.
Eligibility Criteria
ALL criteria must be met in order for a business to nominate in this category.
*Criteria vary for each Award category. All criteria are non-negotiable and will checked.
The nominating business must:
- Be a current accredited THIA member
- Have a valid ABN
- Have been operating as a Tiny House builder for a minimum of 2 years
- Not have been subject to bankruptcy, liquidation, administration (either voluntary or involuntary) or legal proceedings resulting in a judgement within the last 5 years, either personally or professionally
- Have permission from the client to be contacted by us to verify their experience.
In addition, the nominated home must:
- be a Tiny House on Wheels.
- have been completed after August 2023.
